Description: MANAGER, HUMAN RESOURCES

The Manager, Human Resources will be responsible for planning, directing and coordinating the human resource management activities of the organization to maximize the strategic use of all human resources.

The selected candidate will be expected to establish goals and implement approved policies towards the development and effective supervision of the sub-functions of Human Resource Management inclusive of Strategic HR Planning, Recruitment and Retention, Compensation Management, Performance Management and Employee and Industrial Relations, in compliance with institutional, regulatory and governmental requirements. The incumbent must, as an internal consultant, establish and maintain a positive supportive relationship with all departments of the Authority to enable them to realize their Human Resource needs and objectives.

CREDENTIALS AND EXPERIENCE:
- BSc. Degree in Social Sciences, preferably in Human Resource Management from an accredited educational institution
- Post-graduate qualifications in Human Resource Management or Business Administration with particular emphasis on Strategic Planning or Human Resource Management theory and practice will be an asset
- At least seven (7) years experience in Human Resource Management; five (5) of which must be in a senior management/ leadership capacity
- A compelling track record of success as a senior manager in complex organizations with superb communication, adaptive leadership skills and a strong propensity for action
- Sound knowledge of the principles and practices of good Industrial Relations Management
- A demonstrated history of building organizational capability and leadership and creating an enterprise culture with a passion for growth and development
- Previous experience in a healthcare environment will be an asset
- Any relevant combination of training and experience
